Came up with this one when I was mowing the lawn a few days ago and saw something neon green in the grass a split second before my lawn mower went over the spot. I wondered if I'd just run over a praying mantis and sure enough, there it was, intact. My mower decided to spare the little guy. Second mantis I've almost killed with my mower now and the second mantis I've ever seen in the "wild" in Colorado.
